Launch of Dedicated Power & Energy Services Division to Accelerate Growth

Hercules PLC (AIM: HERC), a leading UK power and infrastructure services group, is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated Power & Energy Services division, supported by its own focused management team.

This division will sit alongside Labour Supply Services and Construction Services as one of the Group's three core service divisions. Each division will be reported separately in the Company's financial results announcements, providing greater visibility of their individual performance and growth.

This decision reflects the strong momentum Hercules is experiencing in one of the UK's most attractive long-term infrastructure markets and the Board's ambition to accelerate growth by expanding the Group's capabilities, customer relationships and operational capacity.

It builds on the successful acquisition and integration of Advantage NRG in June 2025, following which, as announced on 16 July 2026, Advantage NRG has secured approximately £20.8 million of contracted works to date in FY2026.

MD appointment

To provide the dedicated leadership and strategic focus required to capitalise on tailwinds within the power and energy sector, Hercules has appointed Marcus White as Managing Director of the division.

Marcus brings almost ten years of sector experience with Advantage NRG and has played a central role in broadening customer relationships, expanding operational capacity and securing significant new work following the acquisition by Hercules.

In his new role, Marcus will lead the continued growth of the division, broaden the range of services it provides and further position Hercules as a key delivery partner for major UK power infrastructure programmes.

The market opportunity

The Board believes this new structure provides a strong platform for sustained growth. The UK is embarking on a generational transformation of its electricity system to meet rapidly increasing demand, strengthen energy security and support the delivery of its clean-power and net-zero ambitions.

The UK Government estimates that delivering Clean Power 2030 could require approximately £40 billion of investment annually between 2025 and 2030, including around £30 billion per year in generation assets and £10 billion per year in electricity transmission infrastructure.

This national investment is reflected in major programmes being undertaken by the country's principal network operators. National Grid plans to invest approximately £40 billion in its UK electricity transmission and distribution networks over the five years to March 2031.

SSEN Transmission is progressing a £29 billion programme to strengthen the electricity network across the north of Scotland, while SP Energy Networks has commenced an investment programme of up to £12 billion across the transmission network in central and southern Scotland through to 2031.

Brusk Korkmaz, Chief Executive Officer of Hercules, said:

"The launch of our dedicated Power & Energy Services division is an important milestone for Hercules and reinforces our evolution into a leading power and infrastructure services group.

"Power and energy is already one of the fastest-growing areas of our business. The scale of investment being undertaken across generation, transmission and distribution represents a once-in-a-generation transformation of the UK's electricity infrastructure and creates a substantial long-term opportunity for Hercules.

"Marcus has been instrumental in the success of Advantage NRG and in building the strong platform we have today. Establishing a dedicated division under his leadership gives us the focus, accountability and capacity to accelerate our growth, invest further in our people and capabilities, and become an increasingly important delivery partner for our customers as they undertake some of the UK's most critical infrastructure programmes."

Marcus White, Managing Director of Power & Energy Services, commented:

"I am delighted to lead the new Power & Energy Services division at such an important time for Hercules and the wider industry.

"We have a talented and highly experienced team, excellent customer relationships and a growing track record of delivery, giving us a strong platform from which to scale.

"Our priorities are clear: to continue delivering exceptional service, invest in the skills and capacity our customers need, broaden our service offering and secure a greater share of the significant opportunities emerging across the UK's power infrastructure market. I am excited about what we can achieve together."
