Retirement of director

Hampden Underwriting plc, which provides investors with a limited liability direct investment into the Lloyd's insurance market, announces that Andrew Leslie will be retiring as a non-executive director of the Company following the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming AGM on 27 June 2013.  The Company intends to appoint a new non-executive director in the near future.

Chairman of Hampden Underwriting, Sir Michael Oliver, said:

"I would like to thank Andrew for his contribution to the development of the Company since its inception in 2007 and we wish him well in his retirement."
