Resignation of Non-Executive Director
Halma p.l.c. the leading safety and environmental technology Group, announces
the resignation of Hamish Ritchie (aged 60) a Non-Executive Director, with
effect from today, 8 November 2002.
Mr. Ritchie was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Halma in May 1997. He has
retired from the Halma Board after more than five years of distinguished service
to the Group.
David Barber, Chairman of Halma, commented:

contribution during his five year tenure as a Non-Executive Director of the
