Update on Eagle Gold Project
Drill target definition and community engagement
Gunsynd (AIM: GUN), an investing company, is pleased to provide an update on exploration activity at the Eagle Gold Project, Ontario, Canada. Critical Discoveries Ltd has been engaged to operate the field exploration program and to lead the technical work, including historic data compilation, target generation, and drill-program planning.
A program of historic data compilation and digitisation is ongoing to define high-priority drill targets for a maiden drill program. Thirty-five historical assessment reports are being reviewed, and the available geophysical, geochemical and diamond-drill datasets are being digitised and combined to inform field design and permitting. Initial work has identified multiple high priority targets along the largely under-explored approximately 7 km strike extent, warranting a large follow-up geochemical survey and targeted drilling.
Community engagement and permitting
Consultation has been initiated with relevant stakeholders as part of its permitting and project planning in recognition of the importance of early and ongoing indigenous engagement. Feedback will be incorporated into the exploration plan and drill permit submission.
Next steps
· Complete community consultation and submit the exploration drill permit application to the Ontario Ministry of Mines.
· Design upcoming exploration program, including finalising the drill plan and outlining the geochemical and geophysical surveys.
