Amitsoq Drilling Programme and Logistics

As described in the Company's RNS of 8 April 2026, the Phase III drilling programme at Amitsoq aims to upgrade the Inferred Mineral Resource announced in January 2023, which was based on the Phase I and II drilling programmes completed in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Equally as important, the drilling programme will enable the Company to acquire technical information and data on rock strength, stability, and hydrogeology which will be essential for the Pre-Feasibility Study on Amitsoq which is planned to start by the end of 2026.

Up to 12 holes are planned to be drilled from four drill sites for a total of ca 2,200m, with the deepest hole planned to be ca 285m.

In preparation for the drilling, two GreenRoc staff members travelled to Amitsoq in late April 2026 to mark out sites for the construction of drill platforms, test access routes and settle logistics, in addition to meeting local contractors.

The drill rigs and associated equipment have been shipped from Canada by drill contractor MEDL and are presently on their way to Nanortalik, estimated to arrive around the middle of June.

Nanortalik town and its deepwater harbour are located only about 15km south of Amitsoq and will act as a staging point for the equipment arriving in containers, which will then be unloaded into a landing craft barge and shipped directly to Amitsoq.

At Amitsoq, the rigs and other equipment will be unloaded using a barge-mounted crane and moved into position at the drill platforms by chartered helicopter, serviced from nearby Qaqortoq.

During the programme, drill core will be logged on site and selected sections will be cut, sampled and shipped for geochemical analysis at ALS laboratories in Ireland.

GreenRoc staff will arrive in Nanortalik on 19 June 2026 to begin on site preparations, with drill crew and other personnel due to arrive between 23-26 June. A geotechnical team from SLR Consulting will join the project in July to initiate the geotechnical data collection. Dr. John Arthur, Chartered Geologist (FGS CGeol no. 1005744), who undertook the Mineral Resource Estimate for Amitsoq and is contracted to revise the Mineral Resource Estimate to reflect the data to be acquired during the Phase III drilling, will conduct a site visit in late July 2026.

GreenRoc's AAM Pilot Plant

In late April, the Company announced the commissioning of the micronisation and spheronisation mills (refer to the RNS of 29 April 2026).  Several batches of ca 100kg graphite concentrate have now been run through the pilot plant. The analytical results from the first 100kg test batch shows a d50 (i.e., a median particle diameter) of 14.8 micrometer (thousands of a millimeter) and a tap density of 0.85 g/cm3. Given the target d50 was set at 15.0 micrometer, and a tap density of 0.9 g/cm3, this is considered very good results for the first test run. The tap density serves as a guide to the degree of roundness of the graphite grains. The results were obtained after several runs with the QWJ 60 microniser and QWJ 30 spheroniser mills.

GreenRoc's pilot plant team is currently optimising the milling parameters in order to achieve a narrower grain size distribution and to increase the tap density.

Greenroc is holding a formal opening ceremony for the pilot plant on 2 June 2026. Persons interested in attending should contact the Company at the contact details given below.

Figure 2. Photomicrograph of Greenroc's first run of spheronised graphite. The image was acquired using a scanning electron microscope at the Danish Technical University (DTU). Some of the platy or angular particles represent mineral impurities inherent in the graphite ore, as the spherical graphite has not been subjected to purification (the purification instruments are due to arrive in H2 2026).

Other developments

At the EIT Raw Materials Summit 2026, held in Brussels last week, Greenroc was represented by Chairman George Frangeskides and CEO Stefan Bernstein who met with several officials from the EU during the summit. Stefan Bernstein also had the opportunity to hold a meeting with EU Commissioner for Energy Dan Jørgensen and discuss the progress of the Project.

Also last week, at the "Future Greenland" Business Conference in Nuuk, Greenland, Jozef Sikela, the EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, spoke about the close collaboration and partnership between the EU and Greenland. At the conference, the trade bodies Danish Industry, Greenland Business Association and investment firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners presented a catalogue of 'Sustainable investment opportunities in Greenland' which shortlisted nine projects of which Amitsoq was one. Finally, the Company is pleased to announce that it is now a member of the Critical Minerals Association (UK) (the "CMA").  Having access to the CMA's network of industry leaders and policymakers will provide further support for the Company's plans to accelerate the development of the Amitsoq graphite mine and commercial active anode materials plant.

GreenRoc's CEO, Stefan Bernstein, commented:

"We are very pleased with the progress achieved in the planning of the Phase III drilling programme. The finer details required to mount a substantial field programme of this kind are now falling into place. In parallel, our pilot anode plant is delivering encouraging early processing data and providing a solid foundation for the further optimisation of particle size distribution and grain shape in our flowsheet."
