Hussar EP513 Wellhead Procurement and Rig Mobilisation Update
Georgina Energy Plc, (LSE: GEX.L), a helium, hydrogen and natural gas exploration and development company with strategic permits in Australia, announces further progress towards drilling at its Hussar EP513 project in Western Australia, including the procurement of wellhead equipment from Cactus Wellhead and notification to Ensign regarding mobilisation of the contracted Ensign Rig 970.
All civil engineering and site preparation works have now been completed, with further improvements undertaken to access infrastructure in support of the planned drilling programme.
Highlights
Wellhead procurement: The Company has placed an order with Cactus Wellhead, a specialist manufacturer of wellhead equipment required for the planned Hussar drill program.
Rig mobilisation: Ensign has been notified regarding mobilisation of the contracted Ensign 970 drilling rig.
Site works completed: All civil engineering and site preparation works at Hussar EP513 have been completed, with contractors and equipment demobilised from site.
Access infrastructure: As previously announced, further improvements have been undertaken along the Eagle Highway route with additional transport routes being assessed to provide flexibility for heavy equipment mobilisation.
Seismic programme: Formal applications submitted to the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (“DMPE”) with regulatory and Traditional Owner approvals pending and the programme budget being finalised for proposed funding by Harlequin Energy.
Drilling Mobilisation and Site Access
Following completion of the site works, contractors have demobilised from site with their equipment using alternative routes to avoid existing road closures.
As previously announced, further road works have been undertaken, including improvements to the Eagle Highway route from the Mangkili turn-off on the Gunbarrel Highway to the Hussar wellsite.
The Company's consulting engineers and advisers, Aztech Well Construction and Ingenua, continue to develop alternative access arrangements for heavy equipment mobilisation. These include a route via Leonora, along the Great Central Road and David Carnegie Highway, connecting with the Eagle Highway to the Hussar site.
The Company and its contractors continue to access the project using light vehicles on roads administered by Wiluna Shire Council, while arrangements for heavy vehicle movements are progressed.
The Company continues to work closely with its contractors and advisers to address weather-related road restrictions and facilitate the safe mobilisation of the Ensign 970 drilling rig, with the safety of personnel and equipment remaining the priority.
Further updates on mobilisation arrangements and the revised spud date will be provided in due course along with additional site photos which can be viewed by shareholders on the Georgina website.
Site Security and Infrastructure
Site Security Fencing has been installed at the Hussar site, including around the lined water storage pond, to prevent wildlife entering the wellsite, completing of a further element of the site's preparatory works.

Seismic Programme
In parallel with preparations for drilling, the Company has submitted formal applications for the proposed Hussar seismic programme to the Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE).
The seismic program does not require heavy vehicle access and will use modern lightweight seismic techniques and equipment designed to minimise environmental disturbance.
The proposed survey will involve approximately 30 days of fieldwork, subject to the receipt of the necessary Western Australian DMPE and Traditional Owner cultural heritage approvals expected to be issued shortly.
The Company is also finalising the programme budget, which is intended to be funded by Harlequin Energy.
Hussar Resource Potential
The Hussar prospect is supported by an Independent Geological Report dated 1st February 2026, prepared by Competent Person Mr Maki Petkovski , which estimates unrisked SPE PRMS (the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Petroleum Resource Management Systems) net attributable 2U Prospective Resources of 283 BCF helium, 315 BCF hydrogen and 2.93 TCF of hydrocarbon gas.
Based on the pricing of Helium US$450/MCFG and Hydrogen US$2.65/kg and US$8/MCF for hydrocarbon gas, these volumes would equate to a total potential combined net attributable unrisked potential in-situ value of c.US$152 billion. These are estimates in-situ values from the AER (Australian Energy Regulator) and HNT (Helium Price Index) developed by the Company based on unrisked prospective resources; they exclude production, separation and transport-to-market costs, and there is no certainty that any part of these resources will be commercially recovered.
Anthony Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer of Georgina Energy, commented:
“The ordering of the wellhead equipment and preparations for mobilisation of the Ensign 970 rig represent an important milestone as we progress towards drilling. They follow the completion of all civil engineering and site preparation works at Hussar.
We continue to work closely with our contractors to progress the safe mobilisation of the Ensign 970 rig. Drilling Hussar and evaluating its significant helium, hydrogen and natural gas potential into a full field development remains our priority, and we look forward to providing further updates as mobilisation arrangements progress."

Notes to Editors
Georgina Energy aims to become a leading player in the global energy market and is focused on establishing itself among the top producers of helium and hydrogen worldwide. With a strategic approach and leveraging the experienced management team's expertise, Georgina Energy aims to capitalize on opportunities in these critical energy sectors.
Georgina Energy has two principal onshore interests held through its wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Westmarket O&G. The first, the Hussar Prospect is located in the Officer Basin in Western Australia and Westmarket O&G holds a 100% working interest in the exploration permit. The second, the EPA155 Mt Winter Prospect, is located in the Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory, subject to completion of the Sale Agreement Georgina Energy will hold a 100% working interest.
With the resource potential of the EP513 Hussar and the EPA155 Mt Winter projects in line with market demand trends, Georgina Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing gap between supply and demand for hydrogen, helium and gaseous hydrocarbons in Australia and globally.
