2026 AGM Statement

Today, GBG, the global identity and location technology business, will hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 10.00 am (BST) in its Chester offices. Ahead of the meeting, the Board issues the following trading update for the three months ended 30 June 2026.

The Group's financial performance in the first quarter was in line with the Board's expectations. Revenue growth in our core segments of Identity and Location was comfortably mid-single digit, while our smallest segment, Global Fraud Solutions, is experiencing slower sales cycles and lapping a strong prior-year comparison. Performance in our core segments was driven by strong trading in EMEA Identity, supported by continued momentum across sectors with GBG Go, our AI-powered global identity platform.

Dev Dhiman, CEO, commented:

"We have sustained momentum in our core Identity and Location segments through Q1. Strong progress has been achieved as we advance our product and technology roadmap in support of GBG Go and its expanding customer base. Q1 has seen us deliver richer journey analytics, enhanced document and biometric verification, and deeper AI capabilities to enable faster, safer decisions for customers. This reinforces the Board's confidence in our ability to deliver accelerated growth in the medium term, as outlined in our recent results."
