Fulcrum secures £250,000 institutional investment to advance Ontario Pilot Facility and Ontario Tailings Projects
Fulcrum Metals plc (AIM: FMET, OTCQB: FULMF), a company pioneering the use of innovative cyanide-free technologies developed by Extrakt Process Solutions to recover precious and critical metals from mine waste and support site regeneration, is pleased to announce that, following institutional investor demand, it has raised gross proceeds of approximately £250,000 through a direct subscription with a single investor (the “Subscription”) for 3,571,428 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company (the “Subscription Shares”) at a price of 7 pence per share (the “Issue Price”).
The net proceeds will strengthen the Company’s working capital position while providing additional financial flexibility to support the establishment of its Ontario pilot facility and continued advancement of the Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite tailings projects in the historic Kirkland Lake gold camp in Ontario. These activities form part of Fulcrum’s strategy to demonstrate the technical and commercial scalability of its mine-waste recovery model and continued advancement of its Ontario projects.

• Ontario Pilot facility progressing: certain equipment is being pre-ordered and arrangements for the pilot facility site are advancing.

The additional capital provides the Company with greater financial flexibility as we continue advancing the Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite tailings projects in Ontario.
“Preparatory work on the pilot facility is progressing, with equipment being pre-ordered and arrangements for the site advancing. We look forward to updating shareholders as key milestones are reached. The facility is expected to provide the technical foundation to advance our existing projects, demonstrate the scalability of our mine-waste recovery strategy and position Fulcrum to capitalise on wider commercial opportunities.”

Notes to Editors
About Fulcrum Metals PLC
Fulcrum Metals PLC (AIM: FMET, OTCQB: FULMF) is an AIM listed technology led natural resources company focused on recovery of precious metals from mine tailings (previously milled and processed ore) in Canada using environmentally friendly leaching technology developed by Extrakt Process Solutions LLC and its associates (together “Extrakt”). The Company’s current projects are the tailing sites of the former Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite gold mines, located in the Kirkland Lake region of Ontario. In addition, the Company has interests in a portfolio of highly prospective mineral exploration and development projects in both Ontario and Saskatchewan Canada.
Fulcrum has an agreement for exclusivity rights in respect of any licensed use of Extrakt’s proven cyanide free technology on legacy gold mine waste sites over the mining districts of Timmins and Kirkland Lake. These are two of Canada’s biggest gold camps with a historical production above 110Moz over the past 100 years, leaving more than 70 documented legacy mine waste sites.
Fulcrum is now focused on the development of its Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite projects towards production using Extrakt’s technology; and is positioned to scale the concept across two of Canada’s historically most productive gold regions. Fulcrum believes this represents a substantial, long-term opportunity to unlock significant and largely untapped value from legacy mine waste.
