Franchise Brands celebrates 10 years on AIM
Franchise Brands plc (AIM: FRAN), a platform of international B2B franchise brands focused on essential services through a mobile workforce, is pleased to have celebrated its 10-year anniversary of trading on AIM this week.
Franchise Brands was admitted to AIM on 5 August 2016 and the Group has since grown from two brands in the UK to seven franchise brands operating in ten countries, a combined network of over 500 franchisees and a market capitalisation of almost £300 million. Franchise Brands combines essential-service resilience with a highly cash-generative franchise model. At the heart of our strategy is to help our franchisees to grow their businesses, because "as they grow, we grow".
The milestone follows the Company's inclusion in the FTSE AIM UK 50 Index in June last year and reflects the significant progress made since IPO, including through a number of strategic acquisitions, most notably of Metro Rod, Filta and Pirtek Europe.
Over the last decade, Franchise Brands has delivered a compound annual total return to shareholders of just over 17%.
Stephen Hemsley, Executive Chairman, commented:
"Celebrating 10 years on AIM is a significant milestone for Franchise Brands and testament to the dedication of our people, the strength of our franchise partners and the resilience and diversification of our model. Since IPO, we have built an international platform of seven brands focused on essential B2B services and delivered a compound annual total return of just over 17% for shareholders, reflecting the progress made and value created in that period.
"Our growth journey demonstrates the benefits of AIM as a platform for ambitious growth companies. Looking ahead, through our One Franchise Brands initiative, we are focused on building a stronger, more integrated Group, maximising opportunities across our brands and helping our franchisees grow their businesses, because as they grow, we grow.
"I would like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey so far and look forward to the next stage of our development with great confidence."
