The Board of F&C Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that James Williams will join the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 May 2026. Mr Williams will succeed Beatrice Hollond, who will step down from the Board on 31 July 2026, as Chairman of the Board.
Mr Williams is Non-Executive Chairman of The European Smaller Companies Trust plc. He is also a Non-Executive Director of NT Asian Discovery Fund. Until early 2026 he was Non-Executive Chairman of Schroder Asia Pacific Fund plc.
He has over 30 years' international business experience including nearly 20 years in the investment banking industry having held senior roles in Asia and Europe at ING Barings, ABN AMRO and Commerzbank. He subsequently became a partner at Saginaw Capital LLP until 2008.
Mr Williams currently owns a total of 8,327 ordinary shares in the Company.
No further information is required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 6.4.8 in respect of this appointment.
