                              Holding in Company


The Company received, earlier today, the following notification from Dresdner
Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited:


'Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK) Limited ('DRCM (UK)'), is an indirect
subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG ('Dresdner'). The shares in DRCM (UK) are held
by Dresdner Asset Management (UK) Limited ('DREAM') which is itself a wholly
owned direct subsidiary of Dresdner.


As a result of s203(2) of the Act, Dresdner and DREAM are interested in any
Eurovestech plc Ordinary 1p shares in which DRCM (UK) is interested.


Following a sale on 20th August 2001 of 37,712,000 Ordinary 1p shares, we
hereby notify you that Dresdner, DREAM and DRCM (UK) no longer have a
disclosable interest in the Ordinary 1p shares of Eurovestech plc.


This annoucment is made on behalf of Dresdner Bank AG and for the entities
referred to above by Dresdner Kleinwort Wassertein Group Limited, a wholly
owned subsidiary within the Dresdner Bank AG Group.'
