               EUROVESTECH PLC ('Eurovestech' or 'the Company')


The Company received, earlier today, the following notification from Kleinwort
Benson Group Limited:

'Dresdner RCM Global Investors Holdings (UK) Limited ('DRCMH (UK)'), is an
indirect subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG ('Dresdner').  The shares in DRCMH
(UK) are held by Dresdner Investments (UK) plc ('Dresdner Investments'), a
wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Zenon Beteiligungs GmbH ('Zenon') which is
itself a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Dresdner.

DRCMH (UK) is the holding company of Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK)
Limited ('DRCM (UK)').  As a result of Section 203(2) of the Companies Act
1985 ('the Act') Dresdner, Dresdner Investments and Zenon are interested in
Eurovestech plc ordinary 1p shares in which DRCM (UK), together with its
subsidiaries, is interested.


Following the recent transfer to discretionary management of a client holding
700,000 shares, we hereby notify you that the disposable interest of Dresdner,
Dresdner Investments and Zenon in the share capital of the Company amounts to
40,700,000 shares representing 18.44 per cent. of the issued share capital of
220,700,000 shares.


The present position in respect of the disclosable interests of the
subsidiaries of Dresdner Investments is as follows:


            Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK) Limited is interested in
40,000,000 shares representing 18.12 per cent. (previously 17.80 per cent.) of
the issued capital.


Whilst these shares are not beneficially owned by any of the above companies
we are advised that, in certain circumstances, we are required to disclose
these shareholdings pursuant to the Act.


This notification is made on behalf of Dresdner Bank AG by Kleinwort Benson
Group Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary with the Dresdner Bank Group.'
