EUROVESTECH PLC ('Eurovestech' or 'the Company')
Investment in consumer portal company
In the prospectus issued by the Company dated 6 March, Eurovestech
stated that it had agreed subject to due diligence and the completion
of certain legal documentation to invest £250,000 in a company which
intends to develop an interactive, e-commerce enabled specialist
consumer portal. Eurovestech is pleased to announce that it has now
completed on this transaction and that co-investors in this project
include BSkyB Plc, Freeserve Plc and ThinkVentures.com (Holdings)
Limited.
The portal, mykindaplace.com, is aimed at the UK teen girl market.
With strategic alliances with BSkyB and Freeserve, mykindaplace.com is
well positioned to benefit from access to BSkyB's television
scheduling and the Freeserve site.
