Appointment of Silvertree Partners LLP as the Company’s Finance and Company Secretarial Service Provider
energy B Plc (AQSE: NRGB) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Silvertree Partners LLP (“Silvertree”) to take over the provision of its finance function and company secretarial services. The transition has begun and Silvertree will take over the accounting and as company secretary once the Company’s audited results for the year ending 31 July 2026 have been published.
Established in 2015, Silvertree Partners LLP is a London-based specialist corporate services provider to the natural resources industry. Silvertree’s team of experienced professionals delivers outsourced accounting and finance, company secretarial and corporate development services to companies operating in the sector. Over the past decade, Silvertree has worked with several UK-listed natural resources companies, giving it a detailed understanding of the reporting, regulatory and governance requirements that come with a public listing.
As previously announced, the Company is progressing its plans to increase domestic oil and gas production and to bring the Gatwick energy site back into operation. As part of preparing for this next phase, it is transitioning its finance function to Silvertree, whose natural resources finance expertise matches the Company’s requirements.
Finance leadership
Silvertree will be led by Philip Knowles, a CFO at Silvertree with extensive senior finance leadership experience in the natural resources sector. Philip is currently Chief Financial Officer of AIM-listed Rome Resources Plc and CSE-listed DRC Gold Corp. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of AIM-listed Stellar Diamonds Plc.
In the first instance, Philip will support the Company’s executive team on finance matters, allowing the executive team to focus on the Company’s technical work, its engagement with the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), and other key operational priorities. Philip and the Silvertree team bring significant experience in listed company finance, capital markets, corporate services and company secretarial work, which complements the sector expertise already on the Board of energy B Plc and its wider advisory team.
