Recent Investment Announcement

The Board of EJF Investments Ltd ("EJFI"), which provides investors exposure to a diversified portfolio of regulated debt issued by smaller US banks and insurance companies and participation in certain management fee income streams of EJF Capital ("EJF"), is pleased to announce that on 27 October 2026, the Company via its subsidiary invested in the CDO Equity Tranche of TruPS Financials Note Securitization 2026-4 ("TFINS 2026-4"), a securitisation sponsored by EJF. This represents the seventeenth risk retention investment made by the Company since its inception in 2017 and the fourth such investment of 2026.

The Company's total investment in TFINS 2026-4 was approximately $12.2m (c.9% of the Company's latest reported NAV). This was funded using proceeds of $13.6m received from the Company's investment in the CDO Equity Tranche of TruPS Financials Note Securitization 2020-1 ("TFINS 2020-1"), which was called at the same time, and $0.1m of proceeds from the redemption at par of its mezzanine debt investment in TFINS 2020-1, resulting in a net cash inflow to the Company of $1.4m. The Manager expects that the investment in TFINS 2026-4 will generate an approximate yield to maturity of approximately 14%.

The underlying collateral of TFINS 2026-4 mainly consists of trust preferred securities, subordinated debt and surplus notes issued by 55 US bank and 13 insurance companies with an aggregate par value of approximately $273.0 million. TFINS 2026-4 has a final maturity date in 2039 and is callable after October 2028 at the option of the CDO Equity Tranche holders.

EJF CDO Manager LLC (the "CDO Manager") will serve as the collateral manager for TFINS 2026-4 and will earn an annual collateral management fee equal to 0.30% of the notional value of the performing collateral, payable quarterly. The annual collateral management fee for TFINS 2020-1 was 0.30%. The Company will benefit from the economics generated by the CDO Manager through the Company's 49% ownership interest in the CDO Manager.
