VOTE TO STOP SABA

 

Glass Lewis, a leading global provider of independent corporate governance research, recommends shareholders to vote AGAINST Saba's proposals

 

The Board of Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc (the "Company" OR "EWIT") notes the publication of the voting recommendation from independent voting adviser Glass Lewis in relation to the Company's forthcoming requisitioned general meeting on 20 January 2026.

 

Glass Lewis has recommended that shareholders VOTE AGAINST all the Saba resolutions at the general meeting

 

The recommendation is in line with the unanimous recommendation of the Company's independent Board and follows the decision of ISS, which also recommended that shareholders vote against ALL of Saba's proposals.

 

Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Chair of Edinburgh Worldwide commented: "We are pleased to note the conclusions of Glass Lewis and ISS who both recommend that shareholders vote against all of Saba's resolutions. We are also pleased to see Legal & General plc come out to publicly support the Board and its intention to vote against all of Saba's proposals.
