Announcement by Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc - 23 September 2026

The Board of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc announces that James Coyle will resign as Non-Executive Director, Senior Independent Director ("SID") and Chair of the Audit Committee with effect from 30 September 2026. James will be appointed as Non-Executive Director, SID and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of the parent company, Benefact Group plc, succeeding Chris Moulder.  Jane Dale will succeed James as SID and Gail Tucker will succeed him as Chair of the Audit Committee, both effective from 1 October 2026. In addition, James Coyle will be appointed as Chair of the Joint Nominations Committee of Benefact Group plc and Ecclesiastical insurance Office plc with effect from 1 October 2026. 

 

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of David Andrew Torrance as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Risk Committee and Group Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 October 2026.

The Company confirms that there are no other matters requiring disclosure in respect of this appointment under the UK Listing Rules.
