Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them.

Grant of Performance Share Award and Deferred Bonus Award

City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products announces that on 30 September 2026, the following Awards over ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) were granted under the City of London Investment Group PLC Long Term Incentive Plan to the following person discharging managerial responsibilities:

The Performance Share Award has a normal vesting date of the third anniversary of its grant and is subject to continued service (save for good leaver treatment) and performance conditions.

The performance conditions metrics and associated sliding scale targets relate to underlying EPS growth (70% weighting) and investment performance relative to a benchmark (30% weighting) in respect of a measurement period of three financial years ending on 30 June 2029.

The Performance Share Award is subject to a two-year post holding period in respect of vested shares on a net of tax basis.

The Deferred Bonus Award comprises three equal parts that shall vest on the first, second and third anniversary of the grant of the Deferred Bonus Award respectively subject to continued service (save for good leaver treatment) through to the associated vesting date.
