Christie & Co publishes Dental Market Review 2026

Annual review highlights improving investor appetite, greater lender confidence and increasing activity among corporate operators

Christie Group plc (CTG.L) reports that its agency and advisory business, Christie & Co, has published its Dental Market Review 2026. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the UK Dental market, combining insights from Christie & Co's own transactional activity, buyer and seller sentiment surveys, and thousands of valuation, consultancy and brokerage projects that are delivered each year. The report also features commentary from both Christie Finance and Christie Insurance, two of the Group's additional advisory businesses, on the latest lending and insurance market dynamics impacting the sector.

The report highlights a market that remains active and resilient, with strong demand driving positive pricing outcomes for vendors. Independent providers continued to dominate transactional activity over the period of review, accounting for more than 75% of Christie & Co's transactions in a market which continues to be characterised by its fragmented ownership structure. Notwithstanding this, buyer demand has continued to strengthen throughout 2026, particularly among corporate operators and larger dental groups which account for half of offers so far this year.

Looking ahead, the review suggests that the overall UK dental market value is forecast to grow further, reaching approximately £15 billion by 2027/28.

Christie & Co's Dental team is widely recognised as one of the UK's leading advisers, providing a range of services from brokerage to valuation and consultancy across the sector. Christie Finance, Christie Insurance and Pinders offer complementary services. Christie & Co also recently announced the launch of its advisory and brokerage services in the Republic of Ireland dental market, to support the growing investor and operator interest in this region too.
