Approval of Director's Appointment Qualification

Reference is made to the announcement (the "Announcement") dated 21 November 2025 of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC"). Capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement unless otherwise specified. The Company held the Employees' Representatives Conference in November 2025 and elected Ms. ZHOU Liyun as an employee Director of the Company, with a term of office until the expiry of the 10th Board of Directors of the Company. Her appointment shall take effect upon approval of the Articles of Association of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. considered and approved at the 2025 first extraordinary general meeting of the Company and approval of her qualification as a director of the Company by the regulatory authorities. The amended Articles of Association of the Company have been approved by the regulatory authorities and have come into effect, please refer to the announcement of the Company dated 23 December 2025 for details.

The Company is pleased to announce that the Company has recently received the "Approval of Appointment Qualification of ZHOU Liyun as a Director of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu [2026] No. 317) issued by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (the "NFRA"). The NFRA has approved the appointment qualification of Ms. ZHOU Liyun as a Director of the Company. The term of office of Ms. ZHOU Liyun as a Director of the Company became effective on 4 June 2026. Please refer to the Announcement for the biographical details of Ms. ZHOU Liyun.
