The board of directors (the "Board") of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") announced that the Board passed a resolution on 26 May 2026, agreeing to appoint Mr. WANG Mingchao ("Mr. WANG") as the vice president of the Company, for a term until the conclusion of the term of the current session of the Board. The appointment qualification of Mr. WANG as the vice president of the Company is subject to approval by the regulatory authorities.

Mr. WANG Mingchao, born in October 1976, currently serves as human resources director of the Company.
