Full Year Trading Update

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Cerillion plc has announced a trading update for the financial year ending 30 September 2026, indicating that full-year results will be below consensus market forecasts. The company now estimates revenue to be between £46m and £48m, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 43% to 45%, compared to £45.4m revenue and a 50.9% margin in the prior year. This shortfall is attributed to delayed or deferred customer orders, including software license expansions and upgrades, although major implementations are progressing. Despite this, the back-order book remains strong, the new customer pipeline is healthy, and the balance sheet is robust.

Full Year Trading Update

Cerillion, the billing, charging and customer relationship management software solutions provider, announces an update on trading for the current financial year ending 30 September 2026.

On 1 June 2026, the Company reported in its interim results statement that there was a significant second-half weighting to the current year's results. While the second-half results will be significantly ahead of the first-half, it is now apparent to the Board that the year's outturn will be behind consensus market forecasts*. Revenue is now estimated to be in the range of £46m - £48m, with adjusted EBITDA margin in the range of 43% - 45%.  In the prior financial year, revenue was £45.4m and adjusted EBITDA margin was 50.9%.

The main reason for the shortfall is that some anticipated new and existing customer orders have been delayed or deferred.  This included software licence expansions and upgrades. Major implementations are progressing, with the transformation project at UCom nearing completion and software installation having been completed at Omantel.  The back-order book remains strong, the new customer pipeline remains healthy and the balance sheet is very robust.

Full year results are expected to be announced at the end of November 2026.

*The consensus revenue prior to this announcement was £52.80m and consensus adjusted EBITDA margin was 45.2%.
