Q3 Trading Update and FY 2026 Outlook
Strong revenue growth expected in 2027
Guildford, UK and Plymouth Meeting, U.S. – 21 October 2026 - CelLBxHealth plc (AIM: CLBX), a CTC intelligence company specialising in innovative circulating tumour cell (CTC) solutions for use in research, drug development and clinical oncology, provides a trading update for Q3 2026 and outlook for FY 2026. The Company has also confirmed that they anticipate revenues in the range of £3.0 million and £4.0 million for FY 2027.
CelLBxHealth Executive Chairman, Dr Jan Groen, commented:
“Q3 delivered encouraging progress, with new business secured increasing threefold to £0.3 million and the year-to-date cash operating loss reduced by approximately 60% to £4.0 million. Two new pharmaceutical work orders, including our first programme in the fast-growing radioligand-therapy market, further strengthen the commercial foundations of the business. We also secured a further £0.1 million of new business in early October.
“Although the operational transition has affected the timing of revenue and resulted in revised 2026 guidance of approximately £1.8 million, the actions taken are creating a leaner and more focused business. With £1.4 million of cash at 30 September, an anticipated £0.8 million R&D tax credit and carefully targeted investment in growth, we enter Q4 with a strengthening pipeline and confidence in our ability to build sustainable value for shareholders.”
Financial highlights
During Q3 2026, the Company secured £0.3 million of new business, approximately three times the £0.1 million secured in Q3 2025. This early improvement provides encouraging evidence that the revised commercial strategy is beginning to gain traction. Revenue booked in the quarter was £0.2 million. Disciplined cost management delivered a significant improvement in operating performance. For the nine months ending 30 September 2026, the cash operating loss decreased by 60% to £4.0 million, compared with £9.7 million in the corresponding period of 2025. The Company had cash and cash equivalents of £1.4 million at 30 September 2026 and expects to receive an R&D tax credit of £0.8 million in the coming months.
During the period two independent clinical studies using Parsortix®-enriched circulating tumour cells were published in peer-reviewed journals: one relating to antibody-drug conjugate targeted therapies and one relating to the detection of brain cancer. These publications add to the growing body of evidence supporting the Parsortix® platform and underline its potential across multiple areas of precision oncology.
Post closing events
The Company signed a new Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) with a Swiss biotech company and later a Statement of Work (“SOW”) for its radio pharmaceutical clinical study. This agreement brings the Parsortix® platform into a new fast growing radioligand-therapy market and adds another pharmaceutical programme to the Company's commercial pipeline.
The Company has also signed a new SOW, under a renewed MSA with a US-based pharmaceutical company. This study covers the processing of approximately 100 patient samples using the Company’s Parsortix® platform to isolate and harvest CTCs for downstream molecular analysis. These two new SOWs demonstrate the potential for pharmaceutical partnerships to develop into further opportunities.
Outlook for Q4 2026
Following the substantial cost reductions and a period of strategic and operational realignment during the year, the Company’s monthly average cash burn in Q3 was £0.4 million. In Q4, the Company will carefully target reinvestment to support future revenue growth, optimisation of existing products and services and new product development, to better position the business for sustainable growth. This investment will increase the Company’s average monthly cash expenditure by £0.1 million per month in Q4. Following receipt of the anticipated R&D tax credit the Company will have a cash runway through to Q1 2027.
Prospects for commercial progress and revenue growth remain strong, although the realignment of the business has had some impact on the timing of revenue recognition and near-term commercial delivery. The Company now expects to deliver FY 2026 revenues of approximately £1.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 29% (FY 2025: £1.4 million). The Company remains focused on completing its operational realignment, strengthening its organisational capabilities and optimising its products and services, alongside the successful delivery of contracted programmes, while increased commercial activity and pipeline development provide an encouraging platform for future growth. In the first weeks of October, the Company secured a further £0.1 million of revenue.
Looking ahead to 2027, the Company anticipates revenues in the range of £3.0 million to £4.0 million, reflecting its expectations of increased commercial momentum, an expanding pipeline of opportunities and the benefits of the operational improvements implemented during 2026. This represents a significant anticipated increase in revenue compared with 2026 and reflects the Company's focus on returning to sustainable growth.
Alongside these priorities, the Board is progressing the process to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer, with a focus on identifying a leader who can drive the next phase of the Company's strategic development, strengthen commercial execution and support future funding and growth opportunities.
