Update on timing of publication of audited annual accounts
Cardiogeni (AQSE: CGNI), a UK clinical stage biotechnology company founded by 2007 Nobel Laureate Sir Martin Evans to develop and commercialise novel heart regeneration medicines, provides an update on the expected timing of publication of its audited annual accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026.
The Company announced on 1 October 2026 that the release of its accounts would be delayed beyond 30 September 2026, the original deadline, and that trading in its shares would be temporarily suspended as a result.
The Company has been working closely with its auditors to get the accounts ready for release and wishes to update the market that its audited annual accounts are now expected to be released in mid-November 2026, rather than in the second half of October 2026 as previously announced.
Trading in the Company's shares remains suspended pending publication of the audited annual accounts, at which point the Company will seek restoration of trading, and will provide further updates as appropriate.
