capAI Executive Chairman Professor Ronjon Nag Awarded OBE

capAI plc (LSE: CPAI, OTCQB: CPIQF), the applied artificial intelligence ("AI") venture platform, is pleased to note that Professor Ronjon Nag, Executive Chairman of the Company, has been awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the King's Birthday Honours 2026 for services to entrepreneurship and AI.

Throughout a career spanning more than four decades, he has played a significant role in the development and commercialisation of advanced technologies, including early applications of AI in mobile devices and, more recently, across media and healthcare. The board of directors of the Company considers the combination of scientific expertise and commercial execution that Professor Nag brings to capAI to be central to its strategy.

Professor Ronjon Nag is Executive Chairman of capAI. He is also President of R42 Group, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Genetics at Stanford Medicine and was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame in 2024. Companies he founded or advised have subsequently been acquired by Motorola, BlackBerry and Apple.
