BUNZL ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF WESSEX CLEANING EQUIPMENT AND JANITORIAL SUPPLIES

 

 

Bunzl plc, the specialist international distribution and services Group, today announces the acquisition of 100% of Wessex Cleaning Equipment and Janitorial Supplies ("Wessex") in the UK.

 

Wessex is a well-established distributor of cleaning and hygiene products, janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment, serving customers across a broad range of sectors. The acquisition further strengthens our position in the attractive UK cleaning and hygiene market, enhances our geographical coverage and improves our offering in both product supply and cleaning equipment sales and hire. The business generated revenue of £11m in the financial year ended 31 March 2026.
