Appointment of Group Chief Financial Officer

 

Brooks Macdonald Group plc announces the appointment of Lucy Tilley as Chief Financial Officer. Lucy will succeed Katherine Jones who has stepped down from the Board with effect from today. Lucy will join the Company with effect from 12 October 2026 and will join the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Company's 2026 Annual General Meeting to be held on 13 October 2026 ("the AGM"). The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Lucy was, until recently, Group Chief Financial Officer at Stonehage Fleming, the EMEA based wealth management firm. Prior to this, Lucy was CFO of AIM-listed Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) plc from May 2015 until May 2024. Lucy also spent circa four years as a director at Canaccord Genuity, during which she advised numerous quoted and unquoted companies. Lucy qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. She holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.

Withdrawal of AGM resolution

Katherine Jones will, therefore, no longer be standing for re-election at the AGM. Resolution 8 in respect of the re-appointment of Katherine Jones will be withdrawn from the business of the AGM. The withdrawal of Resolution 8 does not affect the validity of the Notice of the AGM (the "Notice"), the proxy form or any votes already submitted in respect of the remaining resolutions in the Notice. Any votes already cast in relation to Resolution 8 are of no effect. The number of all other resolutions in the Notice remains unchanged.
