The British Land Company PLC ("the Company") announces that the Non-Executive Directors listed below were allotted ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company at a price of 612.47656 pence per share on 02 January 2020:

The allotment of shares to William Jackson is pursuant to his instructions to receive shares as full satisfaction of his Non-Executive Director fees. The allotment of shares to Tim Score is in partial satisfaction of his Chairman's fee.

The transactions referred to above took place outside a trading venue.
