(‘BRCK’, the ‘Company’ or the ‘Group’)
Half year Trading Update and Notice of Interim Results
BRCK Group plc, leading distributor and provider of specialist products and services to the UK construction industry, today issues its trading update for the six-month period ended 30 September 2026 (‘H1 FY27’ or the ‘Period’).
During the Period the Group delivered a resilient performance, with H1 FY27 results in line with the Board’s expectations.
H1 FY27 Update and Notice of Interim Results
Since the time of the Company’s AGM statement published in September 2026, the UK housebuilding industry has remained subdued and broader macroeconomic conditions mean that the timing of any recovery in new housebuilding starts remains uncertain.
However, BRCK’s diversified business model, underpinned by strong brands, technical expertise and a disciplined growth strategy, ensures that it remains well positioned with the operational gearing to take advantage of any improvement in end markets and trading conditions.
H1 FY27 revenue is expected to be £343.1 million, a decrease of 1.1 per cent. on the prior period (H1 FY26: £347.0 million) and H1 FY27 adjusted EBITDA* is expected to be approximately £25.5 million (H1 FY26: £27.2 million).
This performance reflects another period of strong contribution from the Group’s Design & Install division and, in the continued delivery of the Group’s stated diversification strategy, there has been a positive initial contribution from H.S. Jackson & Son (‘Jacksons’) following its acquisition by the Group in July 2026.
The Group maintains a solid financial foundation. Net debt at 30 September 2026 is expected to be £96.4 million on a pre-IFRS basis (30 September 2025: £66.8 million), reflecting the acquisition of Jacksons and associated freehold property during the Period.
Outlook
Notwithstanding BRCK’s resilient performance in H1 FY27 and the continued strong performance of the Design & Install division, the Group continues to be impacted by subdued housebuilding and RMI markets. Whilst the Government’s proposed ‘Your First Home’ scheme is welcomed as a positive development, full details on the scheme and its implementation remain to be confirmed and as such, it is too early to gauge the impact that this scheme will have. Furthermore, widely reported inflationary pressures, including the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, have increased commentators’ expectations of interest rate rises in the UK and elsewhere.
With the Group’s end markets, particularly those of the Group’s Distribution division, being highly sensitive to UK interest rates, the Board considers that a recovery in market conditions is now expected to take longer than had been previously anticipated. Accordingly, the Board now expects the Company to deliver Adjusted EBITDA* for FY27 of approximately £45.0 million, compared with the current market consensus figure for Adjusted EBITDA of £50.3 million. As previously announced, the Group has embarked on a number of process, administrative and IT improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Group. In light of the continued inactivity in new house starts, the Board will put an accelerated focus on these operational efficiency measures.
Frank Hanna, Chief Executive Officer, said: "BRCK has demonstrated true resilience in the first half of the year, driven by our diversified model, strength of our brands as well as the standout performance of our Design & Install division. While the macroeconomic environment dictates a longer road to recovery for the housebuilding sector, our proactive focus on internal efficiencies and strong financial footing ensures we are ready to take advantage when market conditions improve."

The Group expects to announce its results for the six months ended 30 September 2026 on 24 November 2026. There will be an in-person presentation for analysts at 09.30hrs (GMT) on the day of the announcement, hosted by Frank Hanna (CEO) and Mike Gant (CFO), at Burson Buchanan’s offices at Rose Court, 2 Southwark Bridge Road, London, SE1 9HS.
