bpha Group Annual Report and Financial Statements 2025-2026

bpha today (31 July 2026) released its Annual Report and Financial Statements reporting a year of strong performance, service improvement and continued investment in homes and communities.

It has also been a year of growth. We delivered 444 new homes and agreed the transfer of more than 1,200 homes from Clarion, strengthening our presence across Bedfordshire and expanding opportunities to serve more customers with strong local services.

We continued to invest in the quality and safety of our homes, with 97% of properties now having an up-to-date stock condition survey and 92% achieving EPC Band C or above - well ahead of national targets.

Our core operating business continued to perform strongly as turnover increased to £142.5m (2025: £136.7m) and turnover in our development and sales business increased to £34.1m (2025: £28.3m) Combined, our underlying operating surplus increased to £55.8m overall (2025: £54.9m).

Highlights included:

·    £49m invested in maintaining and improving existing homes (2025: £49m)

·    £105m invested in new or newly acquired homes (2025: £64m)

·    We now own or manage 20,770 homes (2025: 20,156)

·    S&P credit rating of A+ (Stable)

·    G1, V1 and C1- the highest governance, financial viability and consumer Regulatory ratings
