COMPLETION OF SALE OF STAKE IN LUMIRA COLOMBIA

Recovery of 101 per cent. of principal investment[1]

BioPharma Credit PLC (LSE: BPCR), the specialist life sciences debt investment trust, is pleased to announce that on 14 August 2026 it completed the sale of its indirect interest in Lumira SAS (Colombia) ("Lumira Colombia"), a Colombian distributor of third-party diagnostic products.  The successful closing of the sale marks the conclusion of the US$419 million investment originally made by the Company and BioPharma Credit Investments V (Master) LP ("BioPharma-V") in the LumiraDx group companies commencing in March 2021.

Taking into account the proceeds received from the sale of Lumira Colombia, the proceeds received when LumiraDx sold its point-of-care diagnostics platform business and certain related assets to Roche Diagnostics Limited in July 2024, and the cash interest received over time from LumiraDx group companies, the Company has recovered approximately 101 per cent. of its principal investment1, on a gross and net basis.

LumiraDx Colombia Holdings Limited, the former UK parent entity of Lumira Colombia and the entity in which the Company and BioPharma-V held its indirect interests, will be wound-up in due course.
