The £193 million Guernsey-registered closed-ended investment company was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2010 and seeks to achieve capital growth through exposure to pre-IPO and specialist listed opportunities in the natural resources sector. It is managed by Trevor Steel, CIO and Managing Partner of Baker Steel Capital Managers LLP ("Baker Steel") , an independently owned investment manager which has extensive experience in the natural resources, gold and precious metals sector.

Trevor Steel, CIO and Managing Partner of the Baker Steel said, "The inclusion of BSRT in the FTSE All-Share Index is a significant milestone for the Company. It both reflects the strong growth in its assets under management, driven by increased demand for metals and mining stocks as well as Baker Steel's reputation as a market-leading specialist in this sector.  As a constituent of the UK's main index, BSRT will be accessible to a wider range of investors and may be included in passive investment vehicles and ETFs that replicate the FTSE All-Share.  We believe that this will provide even greater momentum to BSRT´s future growth."

"In our view, a combination of secular demand trends and constrained supply create a robust and supportive environment for the assets in which the Company typically invests. Under these market conditions we are confident that BSRT will thrive, and in doing so successfully continue to meet its objective of growing investors' capital."
