Retirement of Director

Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that Mr David Ritchie retired at the Annual General Meeting held on 5 August 2014 and did not seek re-election as a Director of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Ritchie for his invaluable contribution to the Company during his 13 year tenure as a Director.
