* Refer notes below:

 

1.   Pursuant to the swap facility for FCNR (B) deposits introduced by the Reserve Bank of India earlier during the year, the Bank mobilised FCNR (B) deposits aggregating USD 10.62 billion (₹1,018 billion) as on September 30, 2026.

2.   A portion of these FCNR (B) flows were utilised to reduce non-retail term deposits during the quarter, which declined by 8.6% QoQ.

3.   Loans extended by the Bank's international branches to customers as leveraging facility for placing such deposits aggregated USD 4.57 billion (₹438 billion). Excluding these loans, gross advances would have grown by 18.8% YoY and 5.3% QoQ; total deposits would have grown by 17.0% YoY and 2.6% QoQ and term deposits would have grown by 21.3% YoY and 3.2% QoQ (including impact of non-retail term deposits which declined 8.6% QoQ as stated above), as on September 30, 2026.

4.   Further, standby letters of credit issued by the Bank in favour of other banks in respect of loans against  FCNR (B) deposits aggregated to USD 4.69 billion (₹449 billion).
