Board composition - re-election of non-executive director

Aurrigo International plc (AIM: AURR), a leading international provider of transport technology solutions, announces that Peter Whiting, independent non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee, will offer himself for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 30 June 2026.

 

As the Group advances its next phase of international growth, the Board has reviewed its composition and succession planning. The Board concluded that Mr Whiting's capital markets experience and his chairmanship of the Audit Committee will continue to be a valuable asset as the Group pursues its growth ambitions, and Mr Whiting has agreed to continue in office and to stand for re-election accordingly.

Mr Whiting brings over 25 years' experience in equity capital markets and more than a decade as a non-executive director of publicly traded technology companies. His expertise in financial markets and corporate governance is expected to be of particular value as the Group scales internationally and broadens its engagement with the investment community.

The Board has reviewed Mr Whiting's independence in accordance with Principle 6 of the QCA Corporate Governance Code and is satisfied that he remains independent in character and judgement, and that there are no relationships or circumstances likely to affect the exercise of his independent judgement.
