Management Change

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Aura Energy Limited has announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Mark Somlyay, who will remain with the company until December 8, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition. This management change is not expected to impact the Tiris Uranium Project's timeline, with the Bankable Feasibility Study and Information Memorandum anticipated in September 2026 and project financing by year-end. The company is actively seeking a successor with experience in financing major resource projects, and no interim appointment is planned.

Management Change

Aura Energy Limited (ASX: AEE, AIM: AURA) ("Aura" or the "Company") advises that Mark Somlyay has resigned as Chief Financial Officer. Under his contract, he will serve a four-month transition period and will, unless otherwise agreed, remain with the Company until 8 December 2026. The Board thanks Mr Somlyay and wishes him well.

The Tiris Uranium Project timetable is unchanged. Aura remains on track to complete the Bankable Feasibility Study and Information Memorandum in September 2026 and to conclude project financing by the end of 2026. Mr Somlyay will continue in his role through that period, so there is no interruption to the finance function and no interim appointment is required.

A successor process is well advanced. The Board is prioritising candidates with direct experience financing major resource projects and will update the market on appointment.
