Subnet 127 update: Zils and OTC token sale
Astrid Intelligence PLC (AQSE: ASTR), an operating company focused on the Bittensor decentralised AI ecosystem, announces that Zils, a decision-model business founded by Ken Nicholson, will operate the Company's Bittensor subnet, Subnet 127 ("SN127"), as an Astrid project. Zils trains small and fast models that make routine decisions in place of costly large language model calls; on SN127, miners will compete to train the best open model. The Company retains the SN127 owner key and will recognise the revenues and costs associated with SN127 (Further details at zils.ai).
The Company has sold 200,000 SN127 tokens ("Alpha") to investors by way of an over-the-counter transaction at 0.002 TAO per Alpha, for a total consideration of 400 TAO. That Alpha will unlock on an agreed schedule.
Following the sale, and as at the date of this announcement, Astrid’s position is approximately 3,000 TAO-equivalent of Subnet 127 tokens.
Siam Kidd, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"Subnet 127 now has a live product and a founder who builds in the open. Selling part of our holding to investors who have agreed to lock it brings TAO into the treasury and puts committed holders behind the subnet at launch."
