Green Compute - Subnet 110

On 16 June 2026, Astrid entered into a strategic partnership with Green Compute, Bittensor Subnet 110.

Green Compute is building a decentralised marketplace for AI compute powered by verifiably renewable energy.

Unlike conventional compute aggregation models, which principally source existing computing capacity, Green Compute seeks to incentivise the creation of additional AI computing infrastructure located alongside renewable energy generation.

Renewable energy operators can host GPU computing equipment powered by sources including biogas, solar, wind, hydro and geothermal energy. That computing capacity can then be made available through Green Compute for AI inference and other workloads, with participating operators rewarded through the Bittensor Network.

Green Compute is also focused on connecting this decentralised computing capacity with commercial and enterprise demand.

Astrid has been providing strategic and commercial consulting support to Green Compute and is working with its management team to evaluate potential growth initiatives that may benefit both businesses.

As part of the partnership, Astrid acquired Subnet 110 tokens for total consideration of £115,954.82. At the time of acquisition, these tokens represented a TAO-equivalent value of 443.083 TAO.

As at the date of this announcement, Astrid's holding has a TAO-equivalent value of approximately 945.28 TAO, equivalent to approximately £219,561 based on a TAO price of £232.27 calculated on 1st October 2026.

The Company intends to continue working closely with Green Compute as it develops its physical compute network and commercial offering.

Operating Cost Reduction

Since assuming operational control of Astrid, the new Board members have made reducing the Company's cost base a key priority and have reduced the Company's monthly operating costs from approximately £201,625 to approximately £65,000.

Importantly, this cost reduction has been achieved while the Company has continued to develop and expand its operational activities within Bittensor.

The Board has identified additional areas where further savings may be achievable and remains focused on ensuring that shareholder capital is directed towards activities capable of contributing to Astrid's long-term operating business.

Astrid Validator Expansion

Astrid is also pleased to announce that it has expanded the Company's validator operations, which are carried out through the Astrid Validator (the "Validator").

The Validator has been upgraded to validate across the wider Bittensor subnet ecosystem, increasing the number of networks in which Astrid can participate operationally and broadening the opportunity to generate protocol revenues.

Early performance indicates that Astrid Validator is already achieving competitive protocol reward rates on a number of subnets when compared with several larger established validators.

The Company intends to continue optimising and growing the Astrid Validator as a core piece of its Bittensor infrastructure which is increasingly becoming an important source of the Company's operating revenue.

Siam Kidd, Chief Executive Officer of Astrid Intelligence PLC, commented:

"Since Mark and I were appointed to the Board of Astrid, our focus has been very simple: reduce unnecessary costs and concentrate the Company's resources on the Bittensor businesses and infrastructure with genuine commercial potential.

Green Compute is a good example of that strategy. It combines physical AI infrastructure, renewable energy and a clear route to enterprise customers. We are working closely with the team and believe there are interesting opportunities for both businesses as it scales.

At the same time, we have reduced Astrid's monthly operating cost base from approximately £201,625 when we joined the Company, to circa £65,000 and expanded Astrid Validator across the Bittensor ecosystem. We believe we can achieve further cost savings.

There is still more work to do, but Astrid is becoming a leaner company with an increasingly focused set of operating activities within the Bittensor Network."
