Final dividend for the year ended 16 September 2023 and special dividend

Further to the announcement released earlier today by Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') of its final results for the year ended 16 September 2023, the Company confirms that:

(i)

a final dividend of 33.1 pence per share will be paid; and

(ii)

in addition to the final dividend, a special dividend of 12.7 pence per share will be paid as a second interim dividend.

The payment date for both the 2023 final dividend and the special dividend will be 12 January 2024 and will be paid to shareholders on the register of members as at the close of business on 15 December 2023. The ex-dividend date for each of these dividends is 14 December 2023.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP'). The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the DRIP for both dividends will be 20 December 2023.

Payment of the final dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting to be held on 8 December 2023. Payment of the special dividend does not require shareholder approval.
