ASIAMET RESOURCES LIMITED
("Asiamet" or the "Company")
Senior Management and Board Changes
Following Asiamet Resources Limited’s (AIM: ARS) divestment of the KSK copper project in September 2026 and its shift in focus from project developer to strategic and corporate initiatives, the Company announces the following changes to its senior management and Board.
Chief Executive Officer Transition
Mr Darryn McClelland will step down as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Mr Mudit Goenka, current Head of Corporate Finance, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, each effective 31 October 2026.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Darryn for his leadership, dedication and significant contribution to Asiamet, particularly his efforts in advancing the KSK copper project to the feasibility stage and overseeing the successful completion of its sale.
Mudit Goenka joined Asiamet in November 2024, bringing extensive corporate finance and investment banking experience, including over a decade at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Since joining the Company, he has been closely involved in all corporate and strategic initiatives, including the strategic financing process leading to the successful KSK transaction and is well positioned to assume the CEO role for the next phase of the Company’s evolution.
As Chief Executive Officer, Mudit, together with Chairman Tony Manini, will lead the Company's stakeholder engagement, evaluation of options for advancing the Beutong Project, and the identification and assessment of new value creating opportunities in the exploration and mining industry.
Board Change
In line with this change in business focus, Mr Dominic Heaton will resign as a Non-Executive Director, Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and member of the Audit Committee, effective 31 October 2026.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Dominic for his dedication, service and valuable contribution to Asiamet over the past few years.
Mr Tony Manini will assume the role of Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee effective 31 October 2026.
Tony Manini, Chairman of Asiamet Resources, commented:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to sincerely thank Darryn for his commitment, dedication and leadership through a defining period for the Company. The bankable feasibility study delivered for the BKM copper project by Darryn and his team underpinned value and contributed to the successful transaction for Asiamet shareholders. I would also like to thank Dominic for his contribution to the Board over the past few years. His extensive experience in project development and operations, and his wise counsel in all board matters were highly valued”.
“We are pleased to appoint Mudit as Chief Executive Officer and believe his extensive transaction experience and understanding of Asiamet's assets and stakeholders position him well to lead the Company through its next phase."
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
