Appointment of New Non-Executive Chairman

Ariana Resources plc (AIM: AAU, ASX: AA2, "Ariana" or the "Company"), the mineral exploration, development and production company with gold project interests in Africa and Europe, is pleased to advise that Michael Atkins, the current Non-Executive Deputy Chairman, will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman, effective immediately.

Michael de Villiers will step down as Chairman and take on the role of Deputy Chairman, whilst continuing his duties as Company Secretary.
