£6.5m of Aptitude Accounting Hub Renewals with two large banking groups; provides opportunity to Fynapse migration

Customer go-live after a 12-week Fynapse implementation, demonstrating speed to value

Aptitude (LSE: APTD), a market-leading provider of AI-native Finance ERP software, is pleased to announce the following significant developments:

  • contract renewals of Aptitude Accounting Hub ('AAH') with two of the largest banking groups in the UK and Ireland, for a combined total contract value of £6.5m; and
  • the successful implementation of Fynapse at a leading UK telecommunications provider in just 12 weeks.

Alex Curran, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“Aptitude provides the accounting layer inside some of the largest and most complex financial institutions in the market. These multi-year AAH renewals demonstrate the strength of those relationships and provide an opportunity for these clients to migrate onto Fynapse.

“Taking a leading UK telecommunications provider live in just 12 weeks shows what this next generation offering delivers in practice: value delivered in weeks rather than years.

“Fynapse is the next generation of our accounting technology. It builds on the foundation our clients already trust, while enabling us to deliver value to our clients sooner. Our installed base of circa 100 high-value clients provides the opportunity to migrate clients onto Fynapse.”

Banking Renewals

AAH sits at the heart of the finance architecture in both banks, providing the accounting layer between high-volume source systems and the general ledger. It supports complex financial data across multiple products, legal entities and reporting regimes. AAH is now the first of the Group’s existing products available within the Fynapse platform. By extending the Group’s relationships with both banks for a further two and three years respectively, these renewals create the opportunity for each bank to move its AAH capability onto the Fynapse platform over time. This also gives the Group the opportunity to introduce Fynapse and further Fynapse capabilities to both banks.

UK Bank (£3.75m TCV)

One of the UK's largest and most complex retail and commercial banking groups, with £19.4bn in annual income, has renewed AAH for a further two years. The bank uses AAH across its retail banking, commercial banking and insurance businesses. The platform supports the finance transformation of those businesses by providing a controlled accounting and data foundation, and the renewal reflects the continuing value they derive from it.

Irish Bank (£2.75m TCV)

One of Ireland's largest financial services groups, with €165bn in total assets, has renewed its AAH contract for a further three years. AAH provides the accounting and financial data foundation across a complex banking environment, standardising data and accounting treatment across multiple products and source systems.

UK Telco Fynapse Go live

Aptitude announced a contract win with a leading UK telecommunications provider on 8 April 2026. The customer, the UK's largest mobile virtual network operator, with £1.2bn in annual revenue, went live on Fynapse in September following a 12-week implementation, compared with the two to three years typically involved in a traditional finance transformation. Before Fynapse, the UK Telco ran manual, offline processes across multiple teams to bring billing data into its subsidiary and group general ledgers. That process is now fully automated through Fynapse, reducing tasks that took days to seconds.

With Fynapse now live and delivering value, there is an opportunity to deploy Fynapse more widely across the UK Telco’s wider group, which would create potential ARR upside beyond the initial contract.
