Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 15 September 2026 it purchased the following number of ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) pursuant to the share buyback programme announced on 6th July 2026 (“Buyback Programme”) through Cavendish Capital Markets Limited.

The purchased Ordinary Shares will be held by the Company in treasury. Following the purchase of these Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 399,762,720 Ordinary Shares in issue, including 18,587,209 shares held in treasury. The total number of Ordinary Shares held by the Company in treasury is 18,587,209, which attract no voting rights.

The total number of voting rights in the Company, excluding treasury shares as at 15 September 2026 is 381,175,511. This figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Since the announcement of the Buyback Programme on 6th July 2026  AEP has purchased 2,417,969 Ordinary Shares in aggregate which are held in treasury.
