RECEIPT OF FUNDS and FINAL RETURN OF CAPITAL

The Board of Directors of Alternative Liquidity Fund Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has received the expected proceeds from the sale of its position in Vision Special Opportunities Eletrobrás Fund. The Company has now realised all its portfolio assets.

Consequently, the Board will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of shareholders to consider and, if thought fit, approve resolutions to place the Company into Guernsey Members' Voluntary Liquidation ("GMVL"), appoint liquidators, and agree the liquidators' remuneration. The notice of EGM will be circulated to direct, registered shareholders shortly.

The Company will bear its running costs for the next few weeks and will need to cover the liquidator's costs and other expenses until the liquidation is complete. Therefore, it has been resolved to return an amount of US$ 2.91 cents per share ($0.0291) to shareholders, being US$4.252 million in total, based on the current number of shares in issue.

The return of capital will be effected by way of an issue of redeemable B shares to existing shareholders pro-rata to their shareholding on the record date set out below and the subsequent redemption and cancellation of those B Shares.

Following the distribution, the Company's remaining assets are expected to comprise only the cash retained to meet the costs and expenses of the proposed GMVL, together with an appropriate contingency reserve.

The Board confirms that Benjamin Rhodes and Oliver Beaton of Grant Thornton Advisors Limited have been selected as the proposed Joint Liquidators, subject to shareholder approval at the EGM. The London Stock Exchange ("LSE") has been notified of the proposed appointment of the liquidators.

Subject to shareholder approval of the liquidation and the appointment of the Joint Liquidators at the EGM, the Company's shares will be suspended upon commencement of liquidation; the Company intends that the cancellation of the Company's admission to trading on the LSE will take place immediately following the EGM or as soon as practicable thereafter. Immediately following the Joint Liquidators' appointment, the powers of the Company's directors shall cease, except to the extent that the Joint Liquidators sanction the directors to undertake certain actions.
