Iron Mineralisation Confirmed at Pilbara Projects

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Alien Metals Limited has confirmed iron mineralisation at its Vivash and Brockman projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia following an independent field reconnaissance program. The Vivash Project, adjacent to Fortescue's 28Mt @ 58.8% Fe Vivash Southwest deposit, showed Dales Gorge Member and Marra Mamba-hosted iron mineralisation, while the Brockman Project confirmed martite-goethite mineralisation near BHP's historic Deposit 20 area. These projects are strategically located within a major iron ore province, and further field work is planned for Q3 2026 to assess their full potential.

Alien Metals Confirms Iron Mineralisation at Strategic Pilbara Projects

Alien Metals Limited (AIM: UFO), a minerals exploration and development company, is pleased to announce the successful completion of an independent field reconnaissance program across its Vivash and Brockman iron ore projects in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The program, completed by independent consultants ERM Australia Consultants Pty Ltd ("ERM"), focused on areas adjacent to known iron ore deposits operated by major Pilbara producers, including Fortescue's Vivash Southwest Resource and the historic BHP Deposit 20 area. The program confirmed the presence of hematite canga and martite-goethite mineralisation within prospective Brockman Iron Formation stratigraphy at both projects.

Highlights:

·

At the Vivash Project (E47/3071), field mapping confirmed Dales Gorge Member and Marra Mamba-hosted iron mineralisation immediately adjacent to Fortescue's Vivash Southwest deposit, which hosts a reported Mineral Resource of 28Mt grading 58.8% Fe.

·

At the Brockman Project (E47/3953), reconnaissance confirmed martite-goethite mineralisation and associated canga adjacent to the western extension of BHP's historic Deposit 20 area. Mineralisation occurs within the Dales Gorge Member of the Brockman Iron Formation and is located in a geological setting comparable to nearby deposits including Fortesque Metals Group's ("FMG") Farquhar East and Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture's (APIJV) Paracelsus deposits.

·

Projects occupy strategic locations within one of Australia's most established iron ore mining regions.

Independent Review Highlights Geological Upside Potential

Alien is pleased to announce that the field reconnaissance program has achieved its primary objective of confirming the presence of iron mineralisation at both Vivash and Brockman while validating the geological concepts identified in earlier assessments.

Both projects occupy highly strategic positions within a well-established iron ore province alongside major operating mines and infrastructure networks.

Although further ongoing field work is required to realise the full potential, the reconnaissance has provided Alien with valuable geological information that will help guide future exploration and allow the Company  to pursue a disciplined, cost-effective strategy while maintaining exposure to potential strategic opportunities in the region.

Vivash Project (E47/3071) - Strategic Neighbour to Established Resource

Reconnaissance work confirmed the presence of hematite canga and martite-goethite mineralisation associated with the Dales Gorge Member of the Brockman Iron Formation. Additional mineralisation was also identified within the Marra Mamba Iron Formation.

The strategic significance of Vivash is underscored by its proximity to FMG's Vivash Southwest Mineral Resource:

- 28Mt @ 58.8% Fe

- 6.02% SiO₂ | 2.80% Al₂O₃ | 0.135% P | 6.6% LOI

Brockman Project (E47/3953) - Adjacent to BHP Deposit 20

At the Brockman Project, field observations confirmed martite-goethite mineralisation within the Dales Gorge Member and associated canga adjacent to the western extension of BHP Deposit 20.

The proximity along strike to the FMG Farquhar East and APIJV Paracelsus iron ore deposits highlights a favourable geological setting and enhances the discovery potential across the tenure.

Forward Work Program - Field Activation in Q3

Alien will mobilise in Q3 2026 with a targeted, iron-focused field program designed to unlock additional potential at the Hancock Project where residual iron mineralisation potential remains within the Weeli Wolli and Boolgeeda Iron Formations, with significant strike lengths yet to be systematically explored.

Other planned activities include:

- Geological cross-sectional review of Hancock Ridge E & C and Sirius-grade resource models to determine whether there is upside potential within and adjacent to the historical Mineral Resource extents.

Positioned for Discovery and Value Creation

The ERM review confirms that Alien's West Pilbara iron ore portfolio sits within a proven iron province, adjacent to major operators, and hosts multiple mineralisation styles across largely under-explored ground.

With field programs commencing in Q3, the Company is advancing a clear pathway to unlock exploration value and position the portfolio for potential resource growth.

Notes to Editors

Alien Metals Ltd is a mining exploration and development company quoted on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (AIM: UFO). The Company follows a balanced strategy focused on advancing and strengthening its asset portfolio through targeted technical work and project development, while evaluating partnerships, joint ventures, and selective monetisation opportunities to enhance shareholder value. At the same time, Alien will continue to consider opportunities to expand its asset base through carefully selected acquisition opportunities consistent with the Board's disciplined investment criteria.

Alien's principal focus is the advancement and development of its 90%-owned Hancock Iron Ore Project in the central Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Hancock tenements contain a JORC-compliant resource of 8.4Mt at 60% Fe and offer significant exploration upside, which is targeted to deliver a mining operation of 2Mtpa for 10 years. The Project benefits from direct access to the Great Northern Highway, providing a route to export facilities at Port Hedland, one of the world's largest iron ore export hubs. Alien also holds exploration interests in the Brockman and Vivash iron ore projects in the West Pilbara.

Alien additionally retains exposure to two advanced precious and base metal assets in the Pilbara. At Munni Munni, one of Australia's largest PGM systems hosting a historic resource of 2.2Moz PGM (palladium, platinum, and rhodium) and gold, the Company has completed its partial asset sale and joint venture transaction with GreenTech Metals Ltd under which Alien retains a 30% interest, free carried to completion of a bankable feasibility study at Munni Munni, and additionally holds 37.9 million shares in GreenTech Metals Ltd. Alien (via a wholly owned subsidiary) also retains a 30% interest in the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project through a joint venture with Crest, which encompasses the Elizabeth Hill Mining Lease M47/342, which has produced some of Australia's highest-grade silver ore during the late 1990s. Alien retains a 30% interest in the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project and additionally holds 30.5 million shares in West Coast Silver Limited, providing both direct project exposure and equity participation in ongoing development.
