AFFINITY WATER APPOINTS MARK GARTH AS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Affinity Water Limited ("Affinity Water") is pleased to announce that Mark Garth has been offered and has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer and executive director of Affinity Water. Mark will join Affinity Water as CEO during the first half of 2026, following his notice period.        

 

Mark has extensive prior experience in the water sector, holding a number of senior and executive roles, initially at Severn Trent Water and then later at United Utilities, where he has led its wastewater operations with responsibility for multi-billion-pound asset and capital programmes, and most recently heading up its environmental portfolio and strategic improvement-programme delivery. During his time at United Utilities, it has achieved industry-leading environmental performance, securing its position as a high-performing water company. Mark is a Chartered Water & Environment Manager and member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management.

 

Mark succeeds Keith Haslett, who has served as CEO of Affinity Water since January 2023. Keith Haslett's intention to step down was announced on 2 October 2025.

 

Commenting on the appointment, Affinity Water chair, Mike Brown, said:
