The Company today received notification in accordance with Sections 198 to 203
of the Companies Act 1985 that as at 9th May 2005 The Goldman Sachs Group Inc.,
(GS Inc) was interested by attribution only in 12,793,453 0.1p Ordinary Shares
in the Company, representing 4.95% of the fully paid issued share capital. This
represents a decrease of 425,937 shares since the last notification filed on
27th January 2005.

The notifiable interest in 12,793,453 ordinary shares of the Company is held
