Sale of WorkiQ Trademarks

ActiveOps plc (AIM: AOM), a leading provider of Decision Intelligence software for service operations, announces that it has agreed to sell to Microsoft Corporation the trademarks that it holds in the UK, US, Australia and EU to the WorkiQ name.

The consideration to be received by the Group for the sale of the WorkiQ trademarks is USD$10 million (approximately £7.5 million) in cash.

The Board considers that the sale of the WorkiQ trademarks has no impact on the ActiveOps Decision Intelligence software suite of products, and the WorkiQ product will be rebranded in due course.

The proceeds from the sale will provide the Group with additional capital, the Board is considering the best utilisation of this capital and will provide an update alongside the year end results announcement in early July.
