Operational Update on Initial 8 MVA UAE Deployment

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Active Energy Group PLC has announced that its initial 8 MVA UAE deployment site is prepared for modular data infrastructure, following its proposed collaboration with Bitdeer Technologies Group. The company is finalizing deployment plans, logistics, and delivery schedules for the infrastructure. Indicative economics previously outlined suggest approximately US$300,000 revenue per MVA per annum from hosting and power, alongside an estimated 8.3 BTC production per MVA annually, though final terms and achievement of these figures are not guaranteed. This pilot deployment is seen as a scalable, lower-risk approach for future expansion in the UAE.

Operational Update on Initial 8 MVA UAE Deployment Site

Further to the Company's announcements on 24 April 2026 and 28 April 2026 regarding the proposed collaboration with Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) ("Bitdeer"), Active Energy is pleased to confirm that the initial 8 MVA UAE site is now prepared and ready to receive the modular data infrastructure expected to be deployed by its proposed JV partners for operational use.

The Company is currently working alongside its proposed JV partners in relation to final deployment planning, logistics and delivery scheduling associated with the modular infrastructure.

The video demonstrates the progression of the site from initial concept through to infrastructure readiness and deployment preparation.

Indicative Economic Model

As previously announced, the proposed infrastructure-led model is expected to position Active Energy as the power, hosting and operational delivery partner, with Bitdeer deploying mining infrastructure and equipment.

Subject to final terms and operating conditions, the Company previously outlined indicative economics of:

·      Approximately US$300,000 revenue per MVA per annum from infrastructure and power hosting

·      Approximately 8.3 BTC production per MVA per annum, subject to network conditions

The Board believes the pilot deployment structure provides a scalable and lower-risk pathway toward larger-scale deployment opportunities across the UAE.

There can be no certainty that any definitive agreement will be entered into or that these indicative economics will ultimately be achieved.

Paul Elliott, CEO of Active Energy, commented:

"We are pleased to demonstrate the operational progress being made across our UAE platform and to show shareholders the journey from concept through to infrastructure readiness.

The site is now prepared to receive the modular infrastructure expected to be deployed under the proposed JV structure, representing another important step in progressing the collaboration with Bitdeer.

We believe the combination of infrastructure readiness, local execution capability and strategic partnerships positions the Company strongly for future scaling opportunities across the UAE."
