Issue of Equity

 

The Board of Aberdeen Equity Income Trust PLC ("the Company") announces that on 20 January 2026 the Company issued 50,000 Ordinary shares of 25 pence each at 413.0 pence per Ordinary share. These Ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares in issue and dealings are expected to commence on 22 January 2026.

 

There are no Ordinary shares held in treasury. Consequently, following these transactions the Company's issued share capital consists of 49,396,522 Ordinary shares of 25 pence and the total number of shares with voting rights in Aberdeen Equity Income Trust PLC is 49,396,522 Ordinary shares of 25 pence.

 

The above figures (49,396,522 Ordinary shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aberdeen Equity Income Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
